Our safety pledge

Elvaren will never message you first, call you, or ask you for money or passwords.

What this means

  • We never message you first. We only email people who signed up for Senior AI Weekly, and only about the newsletter.
  • We never call you. Not by phone, not by video call, not ever.
  • We never ask for money by message, email, gift card, wire transfer or cryptocurrency.
  • We never ask for passwords, PINs, bank details, or codes sent to your phone.

If someone claims to be Elvaren AI and asks for any of these, it is not us.Stop, don’t reply, and talk to someone you trust. You can tell us at[email protected].

Simple ways to spot a scam

Scammers now use AI too. These signs are worth knowing:

  • Hurry. “Act now” or “your account will be closed today” is a warning sign. Real organizations give you time.
  • Secrecy. “Don’t tell your family” is always a red flag.
  • Strange ways to pay. Gift cards, wire transfers and cryptocurrency are favorites of scammers.
  • A familiar voice asking for money. AI can copy a voice from a short recording. If a “grandchild” calls in trouble, hang up and call them back on the number you already have.
  • Codes. Never read out a code that was texted to you. That code is the key to your account.

A good habit: pause and check

When something feels urgent, pause. Hang up or close the message, then contact the person or company yourself using a number or website you already trust. Talking it over with a friend or family member first is always a good idea.

In the United States you can report scams to the Federal Trade Commission atReportFraud.ftc.gov.
